Engagement photo sessions are usually the first thing a newly-engaged couple sets upon in the myriad of wedding planning details. With the excitement and energy that every young couple in love and ready to get started on this long-awaited journey feels, the engagement photos can easily get overwhelmed with too many ideas, overly-calculated themes or having an unclear vision in general. Especially when your session is scheduled during Christmastime! That’s why we love this next engagement photo session, the Christmas wintry wonderland engagement photo session next to the fireplace.
The photographer, Kseniya Bunets, used an outdoor setting to take advantage of the gorgeous wintry snow as the main backdrop. This gives a winter wonderland scene without going over-the-top Christmas cliché. They also cleverly used only one colour to stand out against all of the white – the mustard yellow of the bride-to-be’s skirt and groom-to-be’s shirt coordinate perfectly and really stand out against the snow. On the other hand, their snow-white pet Samoyed dog blends in so well with the snow that in some photos, you might even overlook her completely! But, thanks to a beautiful collar wreath of greenery, she stands out regally, obviously an important part of the family. It’s also obvious that this couple’s affection for one another is the principle subject of this photo shoot, as the casual way they are captured around the outside of this cozy mountain cabin allows us to see just how comfortable and in love with each other they are.
Photographer Kseniya Bunets impresses us yet again with this perfectly-simple, perfectly-coordinated Christmas wintry wonderland engagement photo session.

If you are an animal lover, you will surely want to weave that into your wedding. From subtle touches to grand gestures, there are plenty of ways to show your affection for animals as part of a wedding. This is a cute wedding idea for animal lovers. Make it even more cute and festive by adorning the dog with a floral wreath or festive wreath over her collar.
