Are you ready for one of the most trendy, bright and playful, colourful weddings we’ve ever featured? Katie and Brian are both in show business (she’s an actress and he’s a producer) and celebrated their California wedding themed around their love of the card game Cards Against Humanity and bicycles, all while using a colour palette inspired by bright citrus fruits and plenty of patterns! That’s a lot of power to pack into one event, but check out how brilliantly their design team was able to pull it off!
Katie and Brian wanted their wedding to reflect their spunky personality, with a lot of fun and plenty of entertainment for their guests. They created a colour palette based on the citrus fruits that are common in their California home – grapefruit pink, lemon yellow, lime green, and orange. Fortunately, these colours are abundant in the nature-scapes of California – terra cotta and stonework, bright cacti, and vivid sunsets. The combinations of colours and patterns, succulents and flowers, and personal touches like bicycle motifs and a running Cards Against Humanity gag throughout the event is easier seen than described – so check out the gorgeous photos from Gideon Photography.
