Happy Tuesday to you all and I hope you’re having a jolly week. I have the loveliest pre-wedding to share with you this morning. To avoid missing out on the perfect photos during the chaos of their big day, many couples are choosing to set up pre-wedding shoots to capture the essence of their wedding or their love story.
Here, we show you one such couple who opted for a day to themselves, enjoying a romantic picnic for two and sharing the story of their journey starting together. And what better way to add a *pop* of colour than with poppies themselves? Clearly our bride Liana loves to play with colour, as she stands out in her baby blue gown by T Dress in a sea of green and red. In fact, she is an artist who admires the masterpieces of famous artists Claude Monet, Mary Kassat, Jean-Marc Janiatchic and Robert Vonnokh, who often used poppy flowers as focal points in their works. From Elena Zhun Wedding Photography : Liana is the artist. And she constantly attends open-air painting workshops in different places of Russia.
She was always inspired by pictures of great impressionists who often chose poppies as a plot. Claude Monet, Mary Kassat, Jean-Marc Janiatchic, Robert Vonnokh – were inspired by fields of red poppies and painted them at their masterpieces. As I’m a pictorialist, I was bewitched by the movie “Where the Dreams lead”. The main characters lived like in pictures. When we have got acquainted with Liana, the plot for her prewedding history has been defined at once. She, as well as me, dreamed to see fields of red poppies and to appear in a picture. We have met with Liana and her groom in the Crimea on the eve of fields blossoming. When we saw the blossoming poppies in the field, we have fallen in love with them for the rest of our lives. We felt ourselves to be heroes of great masterpieces. Magnificent red flowers were touchingly gentle and surprisingly thin by touch. They looked like the wings of butterflies, trembled in the wind, echoing hearts of our couple.
We have spent interesting and fine day, time flew very quickly… It is also fleeting, as well as blossoming of poppies. With Liana and her groom, we have created a magnificent series of photos – the ode to their love and respect to great master painters. These moments will remain for lovers’ long memory. And through the years of their life they will carry the beauty of reminiscence, watching the photobook with their history.
