I’ve long been a fan of Kayla Barker Photography work – she manages to capture the most beautifully images in a completely natural way ,so get your pin ready for this rustic romance at beautifully unique Cibolo Creek Ranch wedding in Texas is no exception. I’ve fallen head over heels for this elegant neutral palette of a wedding complete and graced with the talents of Keely Thorne Events with the prettiest wedding bouquets, Anna Maier Ulla Maija Wedding Dress, the most prettiest wedding table setting, wedding centerpieces and creative ideas native grass arch at wedding ceremony by Bows And Arrows to swoon over…
We are so in love with the blooms at this wedding, they are simply breathtaking; soft peachy & neutral tones complimenting the pretty wedding tablescape perfectly. We’re loving the use of Lilly of the Valley – it creates such a fresh and feminine look to wedding flowers and definitely deserves to be the centre of arrangements, rather than just a filler….absolutely beautiful.
From The Bride…Texas is a very special place for us. We met in Houston at Rice University. Kyle’s family is from Texas and Althea’s godfather has a ranch, Cibolo Creek Ranch, in west Texas. Not only is Cibolo a beautiful family owned property making it a clear front runner, but it was the first vacation we took together in 2007.
Marfa is such a unique place that feels stuck in time; we knew that having a wedding there would mean our friends and family would spend a lot of time together, something that can sometimes be lost in the hustle and bustle of a city wedding. In fact, we spent many nights leading up to the wedding playing board games with family and friends. We wanted our wedding to feel fun and laid back, and we spent a lot of time working with each of our vendors to make sure everything from the invitations to the cocktails to the night’s activities reflected our personalities.
Getting to Marfa is definitely not an easy journey (a four hour drive from either of the nearest airports), so we were so lucky and grateful to have 120 guests attend from all over the country. Many of our guests were coming from California or New York and we were so happy to share the beautiful Marfa, TX with them.
