The incredible glamour, elegance and attention to detail of the latest fall 2016 bridal collection from Alon Livne White. The 38-gown collection took us on a whirlwind voyage through fluttering feathers and intricate embroidery to conjure up visions of graceful swans and glittering palaces of the past. The swan motif continued throughout the collection as symmetrical creatures were delicately appliqued onto mesh bodices and flouncy tiered skirts. Feminine figure hugging silhouettes paired with thigh high slits and sheer fabrics added a modern edge for the more daring bride, whilst the full tulle skirts gave a fairytale aesthetic any princess (or tsarina) bride would dream of.

The 2016 collection seeks out the perfect balance between femininity, sensuality, and elegance. I drew inspiration from the 19th Century world of Russian ballet, accentuating the delicacy and precision of the dancer amidst all her glamour. I interpreted the noble image of the swan, the icon of the world of ballet, as a source of softness juxtaposed with power, reflected in the delicate embroideries and hand-picked lace. Infinitely beautiful, each gown is adorned with pearls, precious beads, and Swarovski stones. The collection is comprised of 38 gowns which share feminine cuts that hug the body, stunning trains, meticulous handwork, and superb fabrics of uncompromising quality.
